Conductor Maurice Luttikhuis (Enschede, November 7, 1963) is known as the musical director of musical productions of Joop van den Ende, composer of Holiday on Ice, guest conductor of the Metropole Orchestra and he is founder and conductor / arranger of orchestra The New Symphonics.

He founded The New Symphonics in the 1990s. Over the past 25 years, this orchestra has developed into a company that plays a variety of musical styles.

While studying light music in Rotterdam, Luttikhuis was taught by music icons such as Frans Elsen, Rogier van Otterloo and Ruud Bos.

Then it went quickly and Luttikhuis got the chance to work at a high level. At the age of twenty-two he toured the Netherlands as a pianist of the Deep River Quartet, his first experience with professional theater.

When Joop van den Ende started musical productions in 1988, Luttikhuis became the musical director.
