The New Symphonics

The orchestra The New Symphonics was founded in 1996 by conductor Maurice Luttikhuis.

It is the only orchestra in the Netherlands that masters all music styles and is able to accompany almost all top artists, in any desired line-up.

The New Symphonics has developed its own sound that is partly due to Maurice Luttikhuis’s own arrangements and orchestrations. In addition, the orchestra also plays existing music from the great classical composers, operetta, musical and film scores.

We work together with (inter) national artists.

Classical and pop orchestra

The orchestra The New Symphonics is known for concerts at various locations, such as the annual Musical Sing-a-long at the Uitmarkt, Lowlands, the Kurhaus Christmas concerts and the Viva Classic Live concerts on the market square in Venlo.

The musicians are among the best in the Netherlands. They have been collaborating for more than two decades, so that the musicians are perfectly attuned to each other.

The heart of the orchestra is formed by the rhythm section. Depending on the repertoire to be played, there are strings, wood and copper sections.

Services

The New Symphonics offers a variety of services, such as concerts, television productions, studio recordings, gala events and the guidance of artists in every music style.
